About Eternal Patrol and the Search for the USS Grunion This group is to share photos related to the USS Grunion, a WWII submarine that went missing near Kiska, Alaska in July, 1942. The sub and her crew had a short but distinguished record. Currently, a team is being organized to search the ocean floor in the vincinity of her last known coordinates in the hopes of finding the USS Grunion and other ships possibly on the bottom of Kiska Harbor.
