About US Route 24
U.S. Route 24 is one of the original United States highways of 1926. It originally ran from Pontiac, Michigan, in the east to Kansas City, Missouri, in the west. Today, the highway's northern terminus is west of Clarkston, Michigan, at an intersection with I-75 and its western terminus is near Minturn, Colorado at an intersection with I-70. The transition from north-south to east-west signage is in Toledo, Ohio. Thanks to Wikipedia
The intent here is to post photos taken anywhere along US 24, with a brief description if not explanatory. Photos should be taken along US24 or within a block of the highway or on access roads to the highway. Photos taken off the highway will be removed from pool, along with any photos not geotagged or with a description of where they were taken.
Along the way we will discover other towns in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado.
