About Urban Streets

To focus on photos taken of streets or from streets. The intent is to document what happened on a street or what was on a street: work, traffic flow, construction, people, things, fauna, curiosities both expected and unexpected. Pavement and sidewalk activity and goings on are also welcome. The point of view is preferred to be from street level or a few feet (meter or yard) above but not from heights -unless the street is prominent and buildings and other visual interference is minimal.

When including people (and any other object), I would like to see evidence of the city or streets. That would mean that most close-ups of people (and things) would not include enough of the street itself to remain in the pool.

This isn't seeking those who are seeking to expose their photojournalistic talents; altho, you may post your pictures here, please don't enter with preconceptions. There are other "street photography" groups for that. This is simply a group for sharing pictures of and about city streets and what was in them at the time of exposure.
