About Urban Etiquette Signs

It seems over the past decade that more and more signs have appeared on New York's establishments and sidewalks asking people to be quiet, don't crowd, respect the neighbors, turn off cellphones, clean up after your dog, or just "please don't be rude." Whether it's the cigarette ban forcing people onto the streets, overcrowding, or certain personality types, "urban etiquette" seems to be vanishing from New York.

An offshoot of the Vanishing New York flickr group, this group is for signs made for the purpose of enforcing urban etiquette. Signs made by individuals or establishments, not by the city, are best. Please add yours here!
