It was never my intention to spam the pool.
I had not though of the things you mentioned : 'your photos have dominated the front page'
I just found out about this pool, and I wanted to add my photo's that I already had.

Actually it wasn't you Yer Sister was referring to, but we did think it was a point worth making. We've ALL done this when we've first joined a group,without realising the impact it has.

Ok, I read all the posts, and the guidlines, and I'm new here, but I wanted to make a good first impression. I just posted a ton of photos, rather than spread them out, I put them all online in the early AM so hopefull I have not pushed anone off the front page and hopefully they will get puhed off themselves. I figured this was much better than spreading out the spam. I welcome and would be really pleased if someone did knock some of them off the list. It's sort of expected as I didn't know exactly how far to push the ideas of "fragements". I'll make another post to the guildines about the issue and i hope noone is offended by my kid glove attempt at adding photos and pardons this as I am new to the group and just wanted to dive in with enthusiasm.

I put them all online in the early AM
The site is viewed from around the world so whatever time you upload someone's gonna be viewing the images.

Hi everybody, LeoL30 vou are really right!! I try to think by every picture that I post to a group carefully and mostly I try to add 0NE picture just in that moment, that it may eventually get in a bit harmony or otherwise in a good contrast to the other pictures. That meens, I look to the group before I post my picture and I think this is one of the most interest things here by flickr.
@ MichaelMeister, I must admit that I find it not so helpful for a GROUP-IMPRESSION if nearly 3 sites show pictures of only 1 member. And I think this is valid for the most groups and needs no special rules.
So I would prefere if you reduce your now excisting "ton of pictures" in a raw by yourself. I hope that you understand that my comment goes not against your pictures and surelly not against your person or your enthusiasm :)

Sorry I didn't comment on this earlier. I've been away from my computer.
I saw that it had been commented on the other day so I have to feel this has been dealt with. However, looking through the pool now I see MichaelMeister managed to post some 50 photos in a row. (Ahem.) That has to be some sort of all-time record.
To add to Leo's comment: By posting a "ton" of photos at a time when you don't feel anyone is looking is also posting at a time when possibly no else one will be posting photos that will interrupt your over-enthusiastic posting frenzy. That resulted, as we have seen, in over three pages of just one person's photos.

I do support you, Yer Sister. In the groups I administer the rules are very, very strict.
They really work to the benefit of most of the participants.

Hello! I've just discovered and immediately joined it. Very nice place :-).
I've got a question. There is a rule here which says that heavily manipulated pictures are not allowed. So, if I wiped out of colors a part of my photo, is it inappropriate too?

Oh, I'm so glad to read such a civilised discourse on the problem of 'spamming' the group. I must say it's a bug-bear of mine (the flooding of pools from a single post-er, I've always thought of them as "Editophobics" ) and I'm relieved to see it's being dealt with in such a grown-up manner here :)
Another good reason to stick with Urban Fragments, people!
