About Unfrastructure- a call for change

This group has been established for sharing your images of local Unfrastructures, places you think are in need of change or have recently changed.

Photos may show good examples of change or bad examples of change others may indicate the need for change. They don't all have to be critical images of bad conditions they can also be humorous. Places could include: sports centres, squares, playgrounds, hospitals, road conditions, cycle lanes, disability access, signs, tourist guidance etc.

The aim for the images is to stimulate discussion on civic engagement within the planning process of public spaces and the good and bad effects of change. Ideally, I am looking for a set of images, however, single images are acceptable if they have a story to tell.

The project has evolved as a participatory project for the Brighton Photo Fringe 2010. There is a chance that your images will be selected to be shown in my Fringe Focus Space (at the Old Co-op, London Road, Brighton) during the Fringe in November 2010.

The images must be accompanied by a caption e.g: Where is the place and what is the "Unfrastructure" connection?

All copyright will stay with you as the photographer and you will be credited.
There is no cost for entries, however, I will ask for a print if your image's get selected.

Deadline for image submissions to be included in the Fringe exhibition: 20th October 2010. A maximum of 6 pictures can be submitted per person.

Be prepared to ask for permission when including people or private property in the photo!
