About Ultraviolet Spectrum <400nm
This group is for pictures shot in the Ultraviolet spectrum, meaning anything under 400nm.
This group is not for pictures shot using black lights like some other ultraviolet groups here on flickr, unless of course the proper filter is attatched to your lens that blocks visible light.
As long as you used a filter such as the Schott UG1, UG11, UG11x, Hoya U-360, B+W 403, Baader U "venus" filter, etc., it will be fine to post here.
Please keep in mind IR contamination is problem with many of these filters when used alone if your aim is to get 'true' UV images.
If you would like to post pictures in the visible spectrum as well as the Ultraviolet spectrum to compare the differences you may do so as long as long as they are the same subject. You may also include Infrared in this format .
If you could include the camera, lens, filter, and any other information in your descriptions or tags that would be nice as well.
