Shared space, two stations, spouses in same room!

Hello all, I need suggestions and help.
We have a spare room that we need to share for our office space. He is mister hide everything even wires, and I have a list/post-it/book problem, so we can't share a desk. I need storage and he needs aesthetics.
How have you handled shared work space?
How do you manage your work/craft clutter?
I need visual aids.
