Fairly obvious, but must be stated: photos must be taken in Japan (and should be tagged "Umbrellas of Japan")
You are not required to comment on photos in the pool, but reciprocal altruism is a good thing.
If your photo does not meet the expected quality level, it will be removed - there are other groups to post photos to (or you can make your own), so please don't get too bent out of shape about this

About Umbrellas of Japan

Photos must be taken in Japan and should be tagged "Umbrellas of Japan".

This is not a dumping pool for snapshots, so please take a moment to look at other photos in the pool and get an idea for what kind of photo would fit.

Photos can be with or without people, but (obviously) must contain an umbrella (either a traditional Japanese umbrella, a regular umbrella, or a parasol, but NO beach umbrellas - I'm sure there's another pool for Corona and Budweiser beach umbrellas)

The group pool will be monitored and photos that do not meet the standards of the pool will be removed.
