Only the best photos of naturally occurring ice, documenting the astounding variety of patterns and forms of this compelling subject.

There are other groups about ice, but they often get overrun by photos of snow and ice with no visual interest, never mind duplicates and dozens of uploads from the same person -- I haven't been impressed with facilitation of the groups, and many don't offer discussions. The vision for this group is to develop a top-notch collection of ice photos from a small group of passionate photographers who may want to compare notes, share stories and easily keep tabs on the best work in the niche.

The group is invitation-only, with a low daily posting limit to ensure that only the best photos get posted. By design, it won't be a fast-growing group with large numbers of members and an enormous pool. Quality over quantity.

Group members have significant collections of excellent ice photos taken over a period of time, preferably with some recent ones. If this description fits you and you want to join, please send a request with a link to your ice set(s) via flickrmail to JeremyOK.
