About UK Ship Spotters

UK Ship Spotters is a group which has been set up to provide ship lovers all over the globe, an opportunity to submit their magnificent photographs of ships and other vessels, from days gone by to the present day, for the viewing enjoyment and discussion of the group.

All vessels submitted to this group must be from the waters of the UK, whether coastal or inland.

There are a few criterea of the group which we would ask you to ensure is included with you photographs and these are as follows:

1. All Images MUST contain the vessel's name, either in the pictures 'Title' or ' Description'.
2. Your vessel should be the focal point of the image and must take up a good part of the frame. For example; images of vast oceans of water with a tiny vessel slap bang in the middle may be denied entry to the group.
3. Images must be sharp and clear, with the exception of vessels in mist or fog.
4. Images of vessels in the dark should only be submitted if well lit and the vessel can clearly be seen.

If you have any problems, do not hesistate to contact the Admins or Moderators.

Kind Regards, Coatham & TazWombat (UKSS Administrators)
