About UK Places To Shoot

A group for giving something back to your fellow photographers on Flickr.

Ever had a few hours or perhaps longer to kill in some place you have never been? The purpose of this group is to create location specific threads to give other flickr-ites visiting an area ideas of where and when to go wandering with their camera.

Some guidelines on creating new threads:
* Clearly name the location in the thread name
* Any members can create a thread for a new location
* The initial post should give a summary of the place and some surrounding place names to make it easier to find in a search
* Images including people are ok as long as the location is clearly visible in the image

Photos placed in the pool should be relevant to at least one of the threads.

Wherever possible, we will add the names of surrounding places to each thread to allow potential visitors to the area search the group threads by the name of the town they are visiting.
