About UK Film Club

This is a place for film users of all levels from the United Kingdom to post and show off their best work.

The modern world is dominated by digital cameras, and rightly so. Digital cameras have made photography so much more affordable and accessible to the masses, and with the addition of the internet have made it possible for us to easily see sights that we would have had to simply read about.

It is essential that we don’t forget how it all began though – film was an essential building block that photography was built on. Since the invention of acetate films, photographers found their skills could be more easily taken not only in the studio but out into the field, people could carry a camera with them more often and a whole host of legendary photographers stepped up to the line.

This club is for photographers who still enjoy using film and would like to showcase their best work to other like minded people – have fun!

Any kind of film is welcome here and it doesn't matter what kind of analogue camera it was shot on - small, medium and large formats as well as negative, positive, cross processed or reversed – you name it. Better still if you put some detail as to what kind of film/camera/process was used.

Any theme of subject you like is welcome - the wider the variety the better!
