About British fruit and vegThis is about the wonderful fruit and vegetables that can be grown in the UK. The sector faces many pressures, such as price pressure from the major retailers, and from cheaper imports. Photos of fruit and veg grown commercially, or in allotments and gardens, or in the wild are invited. Photos of people involved in fruit and veg - such as farmers, selling at all kinds of outlets, or community events like horticultural shows - are welcome as well. Description of the photos, such as where it was taken, are appreciated. |
