About Unnecessary Consumer Products and Questionable Foodstuffs
PLEASE READ THIS! ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO KEEP POSTING IRRELEVANT STUFF!
This group is for photos of weird everyday stuff marketed to average consumers. Emphasis is on products where marketing has gone horribly awry, where the term "processed food" is taken to the extreme, or which epitomize the extreme laziness or lack of taste within the target market.
Generally, it's about pictures of stuff you see in stores that make you wonder "What the hell were they thinking when they created this?"
While this group is primarily targeted to a "western" audience, try to avoid "eew, [insert culture X here] eats gross stuff!" pictures. However, if the packaging is amusing to English readers, it may be appropriate.
Also, this is not a forum for gross pictures of spoiled, rotten, or just plain ugly food. We're strictly interested in stuff that's weird and/or gross by design - in its intended state.
Finally, this pool is not intended as a forum to vent against capitalism in general. Sheesh.
