About 2009 UARK Tibetan Mandala

From March 2nd-March 11th, 2009, four Tibetan scholars created a sand mandala in Mullins Library at the University of Arkansas. Students from a University of Arkansas Tibetan Buddhism and Culture course created a second mandala alongside the scholars. Last, a series of 'community' mandalas were created by visitors who came in to view the students and scholars in action.

Additionally, students curated an exhibit of Tibetan tangkhas, stupas, artifacts, and photographs.

This pool is a collection of photos from this 11 day long adventure.
