About NaNoWriMo's Typewriter Brigade

This group is an online meeting place for members of the NaNoWriMo "Typewriter Brigade". Also welcome are: those who are not yet members but are feeling that sudden, unexpected desire to pound out 50,000 words on an old-school typing machine, as well as those offering moral support, and gawkers of all stripes.

Hopefully we'll see pictures of your typing machines - still life shots or in blazing NaNo action - as well as have some interesting conversations. Other NaNo or typewriter-related pictures are certainly acceptable: for instance, pictures of you standing near your machine, polishing your machine, gazing longingly at your machine, etc. shall all be deemed acceptable. Pictures of you without any sort of typewriter are also allowable, just as long as it can reasonably be assumed that you were thinking about typewriters and/or noveling when the pic was taken (for this, I think a sort of wistful, far-away look is appropriate, with just the hint of a smile on the corner of your lips...).

This is an all-ages group, so please, no pictures of naughty bits. Undercarriages of typewriters shall not be considered naughty bits, regardless of any peculiar feelings they might cause in you.

If you don't know what NaNoWriMo is, I can't help you, because you probably stumbled upon this group by accident. I have no idea what you were looking for, but it's clearly not here. It's nothing personal, I'm just not sure how to help you.
