About Type A

New-York based collaborative duo, Type A, are two artists currently working with IMA staff on a variety of projects. In addition to the physical installation that the artists will produce, they are also in the midst of a time-based artwork that involves a series of team-building sessions with a group of IMA staff representing departments from finance to education to development. You can watch the progress of these sessions unfold on the website IMA currently being developed for the project. Working with the artists and ANP director, Lisa Freiman, IMA will launch the site in early September. www.imamuseum.org/typea, will feature images, video and discussion from the group participating in the project and will give you unique insights into the creative process. The images submitted to this flickr group will be featured on this IMA Type A website.
