01 Mar 10 - Please add your photos of the crash. Any photos are acceptable, including photos of the crash site, the house fire, the aftermath, the candlelight vigil, or anything else you deem appropriate (so long as it's related.)

Note: you must be a member of Texas Documentary Photographers to participate. Members may submit up to 3 images in the pool at a time.

About Texas Documentary Photographers-Austin Plane Crash

On February 18, 2010, Joseph Andrew Stack left a suicide note on his website declaring his hatred for the Internal Revenue Service. He later torched his home, boarded his small single engine aircraft, and crashed his plane into the Echelon building on Research Boulevard in North Austin.

The Texas Documentary Photography Group provided coverage of the events, as some members were early on the scene, capturing events as they unfolded, while others were there to help document the aftermath and destruction that occurred that day.

This group was formed to collect those images and document how the events of that day have forever changed Austin and touched the lives of many in central Texas.
