Photos of desert life in Twentynine Palms, California and the nearby Mojave Desert including Joshua Tree National Park, the Marine Base, and the Great California Outback. Suggested focus is on the natural, scenic, historic, artistic and architectural landscapes and culture of Twentynine Palms and its' environment. Interestingness, uniqueness and quality of images are encouraged. Twentynine Palms is the location of the National Park Service Headquarters, Visitor Center and main entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.
This is not intended to be a social, political or portraits or pics of friends and families site. People should be incidental to the subject of the photo. Photos inconsistent with the pool will be removed without explanation.
