so anyone who signs up to webs-tv has the option of personlising there home page with my photo? could you help me out and try and find an e-mail address that i can e-mail them on.
what is webs-tv anyway is like a blog site? or a you tube type web site?

webs-tv.net is a local ISP and they provide blog space for end users maialiao. I guess maybe there is something wrong about their template. Their home page only accept question from members (I'm not...). What I can do is give them a call tomorrow working hour and ask them to provide an email window. Any other help for the time being, lomokev?

lomokev: you know your photo is linked on the main page of flickr from time to time. Do they actually pay you royality for it? I doubt so and I think this is why you will find your photo in many places.
Flickr photo page says: Viewed 225,623 times
I'm sure that taiwanese company will delete it, but it will take time. Taiwanese are generally warm-hearted people. If they don't remove it then a taiwanese laywer could file a "Cease and desist" letter.
All homepages on that website using the theme link to the same file:

It seems they copied it from here:
pics16.webs-tv.net/4/userfile/p/pureangel/album/144adeb38...
If you just ask them to replace that files it should be fine.
Another hint. Just because your photos are setup in your Flickr account with "Nobody can download the full size" doesn't mean they can't. You just simply have to add _o and _b to the name of the embedded image on the photo page to come up with this:

This is a flickr design constraint.
PS. The Flickr image policy is that people are allowed to use your photos if they link back to the original Flickr page...

tangtangro i don't get any royalty's for that image but it dose send a lot traffic my way and lots of people have discovered my flickr stream because of it so i quite like it being on the front page. you are right people can display mine and your photos but they have to link back to the original flickr page and credited you. nether of witch web-tv have done.
i am fully aware that any thing you on the net is up for grabs and there is nothing you can do to stop it. but what web-tv has done is a blatant disregard of copyright

lomokev: Here comes the breakfast tea. It's funny that the registered telehone number of webs-tv is suspended and I am still waiting for their email response. Weird company I should say...
Regarding amialiao, he told me on the above blog that he contacted webs-tv about the "template in question". The answer from webs-tv(hmm... how do you contact webs-tv, amialiao?) is, an user "純色天使" submitted it to webs-tv and webs-tv already removed that "template in question".
The above are an atampt to help lomokev and amialiao to communicate. I have no idea about the correctness of the information ^_^
Tangtangro, I belive that oolong tea would be a better choice
than Jasmine green tea. :P

Here is a cup of soured afternoon tea.
It's a frustration that I can't find any physical telephone number of
webs-tv and they don't answer to my question at all. (I didn't check
the 104 telephone company to ask their telephone nomber, too busy today...)
in order to find out how their templates look like, I registered to their
bloging servier. It is true that they have both in-house templates and
templates provided by users. According to blog.webs-tv.net/amialiao/,
The webs-tv people told amialiao that the "template in question" is provided by this user:
album.blog.webs-tv.net/pureangel/
I checked the template pool, didn't see the above photo. I can't find a
photo like that in that user's blog, either. According to amialiao,
webs-tv told her they already removed that template in question.
That might be true. However, I am not familiar with webs-tv (I won't in
the future, that's for sure). So, the case Lee Wei-I said might also be
true. That gives me headache.
Any further idea?

I managed to get in touch with Summer Yu(Webs-tv). She's
pretty cooperative and their telephone number is 886-2-66368383.
She confirmed that they already removed the theme.
However, they doesn't have the right to change theme for their
customers. She promised that they will inform everyone who use
that theme.
She also confirmed that the original picture was from
blog.webs-tv.net/pureangel/

well it seems to been sorted. i am quite happy with the fact that this was not a big company taking my work but rather an individual that did not necessarily know what they where doing was wrong

This is pureangel from Taiwan.
1 of all, I'd like to apologize for the banner template which's used without your premission.However, I just wanna clarify something here, I've got this photo from one of msn spaces blog last year, wasn't directly download it from flickr, it also said "photo sharing" on that blog which I've visited...well...not until I got a msg from amialiao, I'd never know who's photo belongs to, and I'd never know this photo was from flickr either.
hmmm...I've only provided to web-tv with my CSS work, I've never said that I'm the author of this photo, it seems like we have some misunderstands here.
anyways, I'm really sorry abt this.
