About Turtle Hatchling Safety Worldwide Intention Experiment
I am collecting pictures of safe turtle hatchlings to use in a slide show during the Cellebration of Tellington Ttouch practitioners being held Nov 5-8 in Santa Fe. (http://www.ttouch.com/enews/CELLebration2009.htm) Please leave any copyright info and scientific or common names on the pictures. Pictures of any species in any setting are welcome but I reserve the right to reject any pictures in which the hatchlings aren't safe(i.e. no pictures of dead or half eaten hatchlings!) Read on to find out more about this project. Please contact me if you have questions or would like to participate in the actual Intention.
Do you like turtles? There are more than 250 species of turtles, tortoises and terrapins in the world and nearly all of them face some sort of threat to their existence as a species. Linda Tellington-Jones, founder of the Tellington Ttouch Method has proposed that “we form a careful intention to put out to our groups around the world, holding safe spaces for the development of hatchlings in the wild as well as those who grace us with their presence as companion animals. Lynne McTaggart, in her book, "The Intention Experiment" writes about the importance of how we hold intention, and the difference it makes in the effectiveness of prayer. In Gregg Braden's book, Secrets of the Lost Mode of Prayer, he demonstrates that in order to receive an answer to our prayers - or our intention - we need to hold the feeling that our request has been answered positively. so we have to hold the picture of all these hatchlings making it safely to the water. So hold the positive outcome within your heart and send some Heart Hugs to yourself to hold that image of making it successfully to the water and growing and reproducing. "
In order to participate you will need to have a clear picture of where your favored turtle lives or where their eggs are laid. If you don’t have a favorite or would like some guidance, I can pair you with a species local to you or with a person who has a favored turtle. A number of people have already expressed an interest in participating but we need to have participants around the world. There will be more information in a future newsletter and at the official Yahoo group for Ttouch students, practitioners and instructors at pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/tellingtontraining/. I will be coordinating our participation and I encourage you to contact me with any questions, suggestions or your desire to be part of this important experiment. More information on Intention Experiments is at www.theintentionexperiment.com/ and in the Lynne McTaggart book of the same name.
