About Try Vegan PDX

Try Vegan PDX is a vegan outreach group in Portland, OR.

Try Vegan Week was an event that we held from June 7th - June 14th of 2008 to help anyone interested in becoming vegan get the information they needed to make the transition. We offered cooking classes, workshops on farming, fishing, eggs & dairy, store tours, and a mentorship program, where veteran vegans could get involved and give extra guidance to anyone wishing to become vegan.

We had several fundraisers leading up to Try Vegan Week, and our week ended with a Vegan Prom.
