About Beauty of Turkiye

This gorup is dedicated to beauty of the country of The Turkish People:
Turkiye.

For more than 1000 years, Turkish People's mainland is Anatolia.
And for those time, it's been called as Turkiye (not Turkey which means some kind of bird: meleagris gallopavo).

Turkiye is composed of: [Turk] + the [iye] suffix,
which intorduces the meaning: "The Land of Turks"

Contrary to the popular belief, "Turk" is not a racial expression,
For thounsands of years, it's been a political concept that embraces pople from various clans, races, nationalities...
