About I am Troy Davis

This is a group for you to post your pic in solidarity with Troy Davis, who is due to be executed for a crime he may well not have committed.

Ahead of Troy's hearing on 23 June 2010, at which he has the opportunity to present new evidence that may prove his innocence, Amnesty UK has joined with other Amnesty International sections to send a message to the Georgia authorities.

Thank you to the more than 500 supporters who have added their images to the mosaic so far. If you have not yet uploaded yours, please note that we are now asking you to upload your image to both this group and the Give a Face to Justice group. If you don't have a Flickr account, you can continue to email your photos to us and we'll upload them.

'Give a face to justice' by adding your image to a mosaic of Troy's face, made up of the faces of thousands of Amnesty activists standing in solidarity with him. Please add your image to this group and the Give a Face to Justicegroupand every few days the mosaic will be updated!

- Your photo must only feature you - no group shots please. It should be horizontal ("landscape") and feature your head and shoulders only.

- By uploading or sending your picture to us, you consent to Amnesty International using your image in any materials, including print and electronic, for all actions undertaken by our organisation on behalf of Troy Davis.

- Under 18s: you can withdraw permission at any time by emailing amnesty.amnesty@gmail.com. Please remember to stay safe online! In line with Amnesty International UK's Child Protection Policy we will remove any photos that could put you at risk.

- Under 14s: please get your parent/guardian's consent before adding your photo.

This group also features photos from a previous solidarity campaign. We collected photos of activists holding up the message "I am Troy Davis" and sent them to Troy in prison to show him our support.
