About Troon Lifeboat
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is a charity that provides a 24-hour lifesaving service around the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Operating for over 135 years, Troon Lifeboat has provided search and rescue cover for all seafarers and beach users in the lower Firth of Clyde.
Today the station has both an All Weather Trent Class Lifeboat 'Jim Moffat' and a D Class Inshore Lifeboat 'Telford Shopping Centre'.
