About Trickno-hunt: Redux
This is a group for the select and honored few... we are about motivation to pursue the art of photography in it's many forms, styles and fashions... this is a "By invite only group" and for all intents and purposes, costs $10 to join (for each 8 week term)... each members "buy in" will be contributed to "the pot". There will be a weekly assignment of 5 themes. Weekly assignments are due to be up loaded by 11:59pm of each saturday, no exceptions to be made. One point will be awarded for each theme completed. As each weekly assignment consists of 5 themes, there is a potential 5 points to win per person, per week. The length of each term will run for 8 weeks. At the end of each 8 week term the participant with the most points... or the most completed themes will be awarded "the pot" in the form of a "Lens and Shutter Gift Card". There is to be NO SUBJECTIVE CRITERIA.... points are awarded SOLEY FOR PARTICIPATION... Each submission must be deemed relevant to the theme as determined by the "group". Each theme's photo may be executed in what ever fashion the photographer sees fit. PLEASE ADD ONLY ONE PHOTO PER THEME, AND TAG THAT PHOTO WITH THE THEME. You may how ever upload as many photos for each theme to your own flickr photostream.
the first assignment date shall be the 17th of Jan 2009 and the due date of the first assignment shall be the 24th of Jab 2009. The first term will end the 14th of March 2009... (the final assignment being issued on the 7th of March)
Themes will be determined by each member on a weekly rotation... so.... 5 members will select one theme per week, on a rotation...
these rules and guide lines will be open to discussion until the first assignment is delivered on the 17th of January 2009. At which point they will be agreed to, and will remain unchanged until the next term.
Again, to recap... this group is 100% about participation. Each member is free to excecute each assignment in what ever way he/she sees fit. If you have any suggestions about rules or anything relevant to the competition/objective of the group please voice your opinion.
This should be a lot of fun, and no doubt rewarding in more ways than one.
