Some simple guidelines:

Submit at least 1 photo a week to the group.
Comment on at least 1 person's weekly photo every week.

This may sound like a little or a lot depending on how busy you are, but really...isn't this the point? It's good motivation for all of us to get out there, keep shooting, and help make each other better.
