As someone who takes quite a few 3D photos, I have found that it makes more difference to tree photos than to most subjects. Other 3D people agree with this. There are two common ways to present 3D on flickr. Anaglyphs use red-cyan glasses and are easy to view although the colour is not so good. Cross-view or cross-eye uses a technique that takes a little while to acquire with ease and requires no special equipment and gives full colour.
Thanks for the kind comments. I just went for a walk in "Smith's Bush" on Auckland's North Shore and have a heap more photos, including many 3D. Will post some 2D and some 3D to the pool today.
Initially there is a little eyestrain with the crosseye technique, but after practice it gets easier (and maybe you go around like that all the time ;-)

For those that have 3D glasses (red-cyan) then all theses pictures are also available in that anaglyph format adjacent to these pictures in my photo stream.
These are great. I used to have those cross eyed books and can pretty much go cross eyed at will so these are pretty easy for me to view, but for some reason I hadnt really looked for them on flickr. Thank you! I'm very much considering trying this! It's one better than a panoramic! :D

This is simply amazing. Impressive, the amount of detail that doesn't seem to be stored in the pictures, yet shows up with 3D photography.

Its great to find your cross eyed photos. I used to love to view them, but have not been able for years as I have only had one eye operated for cataract. These will encourage me to have the other one fixed so I can view them again ;)
