About Treasured Things & Collectibles
This group is for people who collect THINGS. They could be noble and lofty things such as great works of art or priceless antiques. Or they can be treasures that you have collecting in your house (not counting people or pets that you happen to treasure)...matchbooks, thimbles, stamps, stuffed animals, old photos, books, beer bottles, purple things, quilts, china, hats, crafts, jewelry, flower pots, pig figurines, model airplanes, musical instruments, electronic gadgets, rocks, coins, etc., etc....the list is endless! This can also include collections that don't fit in your house: cars, boats, other houses! Any or all THINGS that, though they may not be valuable money-wise, are important and valued by YOU! Take pictures of your treasures, whether in your house, on a shelf, in your curio cabinet, in your china closet, out in the garage, in the backyard, up in the attic or down in the basement! This group is for people who like all sorts of stuff and like to see other peoples' treasures too!

*This is a Family Oriented group, so please do not join if there is anything in your photostream that a five year old should not see. Anyone found to have photos, faves, or profiles on Flickr that most people would not want a child looking at, will not be able to remain a member of this group.
*I do not want to see ANY collections of anything a child should not view; nothing more than a PG rating please! Any photo that does not follow this rule will be removed without notice. The member may also be removed from the group depending on the severity of the violation of this rule.
*Please post only your own photos and do not use anyone else's photos (or any from the Internet) for any reason without their permission. Hate to sound ugly, but photo theft will not be tolerated here.
*Be sure the photo is recognizable as a collectible. I don't mind abstractions, photomanipulation, or any of the flickrtoys being used in what is posted here, as long as the photo itself is of a collectible or treasured thing. It would be even better if a link to a unmodified version of the collectible or treasure was included in the caption and/or it is tagged with the type of collectible it is. If I look at a photo and it is not obvious that it is a collectible or treasure, it will be removed from the pool without notice.
*Your family members and pets are certainly treasured by you, but this pool is not for treasured people or treasured pets, but treasured THINGS. Regretfully, any photo that has a person or a pet without any obvious inanimate treasure in it will be removed without notice.
*Please do not post a picture, then later remove it and repost it at the beginning hoping to get more comments that way. I can accept that a person can do that accidently once or twice, but if I see it happening habitually, the member will be removed from the group.
*At this time, I have the group set so that it is invitation only...photos posted here however do not have to be invited to the group.
*Harassment of any member of the group will not be tolerated. Anyone found to be harassing any member will be banned.

* I LOVE to look at "stuff", so I can always find something nice to say about people's treasures, no matter what! Because of my job and other off-Flickr distractions, I don't have time to comment as much as I once did, but hopefully I will get to visit now and then!
Although not required, I strongly encourage all members to also view other photos in the pool, and maybe leave comments on your favorites!.
