About TRAXX

Introduced by Adtranz from 1997 (now Bombardier), the Traxx platform of electric and diesel locomotives has proved increasingly popular across Europe for private/open access operators and state railway systems alike. These ubiquitous machines include (DB) 145, 146, 185 and 186 Class electrics (also SBB 481, 482, 484, BLS 485 & CFL 4000) and the recently introduced (DB) 246 and 285 Class diesels.
