About Pakistan -
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan was founded on 14 August 1947 upon partition from India. Pakistan shares borders with China and Afghanistan to the north, Iran on the west, while to the south is India and the Arabian Sea.
Pakistan is enriched by friendly people and magnificent landscapes. Opportunity for adventure is as high as its mighty mountain ranges, with watersports, mountaineering and trekking all popular and rewarding activities. Coupled with this is a profound sense of cultural concoction, Pakistan once being home to several ancient civilisations, and witness to the rise and fall of dynasties.
This forum is intended to show useful travel information regarding Pakistan and culteral aspects of different entities live here. It would be a pleasure to read your experiences and travel details.. Anything relating culture, people, places and problems (travel) of Pakistan is welcomed here.
