About Trashcams

This group is for photos taken with trashcams. (You're also welcome to post photos of the cameras you're using.)

Please note: Holga, Diana and Lomo have their own groups. This group is for 35mm crap cameras.

Trashcams, sometimes called crapcams, are cheap plastic 35mm cameras. Sometimes they come in cereal boxes or free with magazine subscriptions. Some of them are fake panoramic. You can usually pick them up for two or three bucks at a secondhand store. The most famous (infamous) is probably the Akira.

Trashcams usually have three shutter speeds; stuck open, stuck closed, or lord knows. Some of them have pieces of lead glued inside to make them heavy. The more advanced ones even have different apertures.
