12 Apr 10 - I thank everyone who joined this group for doing so. I truly appreciate your time in playing, and appreciate the efforts of retiredPhil and Whatknot for their moderating while I've been out. I'll be closing the group in about a week or two. Hopefully, that will be enough time for everyone to read this. Catch up with all of you in the other groups in which we're members.

About Because I want to play!
Welcome to the group! It started off based upon a transition game that is currently taking a hiatus in another group. All photography skill levels are welcome. It is a picture-only transition, not a video transition game.
How to play the Transitions game:
1. Members post a picture that relates to the previous picture in the thread. It may be due to color, content, shapes. Some times, it may not even relate at all.
2. Members may post up to 10 small sizes of their pictures per thread, though, not continuously. There must be at least one other photographer's picture between your pictures. It may help you to put a number below your photo so if there are many pictures posted since you last posted, then you'll know where you left off.
CHANGE 3. The winner of the previous thread will choose the winner of the current thread. The previous thread winner can use his/her own pic as the first part of the winning transition.
4. Try to check back at least every couple of days so we can keep the game going. If it needs to be every three weeks instead of two weeks to pick a winner, then it can be changed.
5. Have FUN! There are no prizes given.

How to post a small size picture:
1. Choose the picture from your photostream you want to post.
2. Above your picture you will see menu buttons. Click on ALL SIZES, which also has the magnifying glass.
3. Your picture will appear with AVAILABLE SIZES, which SMALL will be one of the choices. Click on SMALL.
4. Under your picture you will see two text boxes.You want to chose box 1, which states: Copy and paste this HTML into your webpage.
5. Paste the code into your message/post.
6. Always preview your post before hitting submit.
