About Traces and Harbingers

Here we collect photographs of the passing of Man. Show us the effects of the presence of humans in the World. The paths we set upon and the marks we leave behind, the changes we cause to everything else as we pass by in our self-centered hurl toward the future - or Death.

A footprint in a Tasmanian forest. Some over-spray from a child's backyard craft project. A pair of shoes dangling from a power line. The look of a first time mother. or a brief reminiscence on a past lover's face.

Show us that mankind's presence brings more than trash and damage. When we are gone, for ever or the day, how will the World remember us?
