Red-eye reduction! That's some high tech right there, man (as if). haha
Seems like it's pretty much a basic point and shoot with automatic film advance, except it has a 'waist level viewfinder' on top that's in no way linked to the lower optical system.
I like how the bag openly states it contains a camera.

I saw the flickr pix. They look interesting. Don't know anything about the cameras, but they certainly look funky. They're cheap. If you decide to get it make sure you post some photos.

I have one! lovely nice vignetting and centre focus, plastic lens, pointless plastic viewfinder.... A toy cam classic bargain at £4
see my stream here!

has a problem with film takeup though, you have to open it up and check its taken properly as the autowind is crap! and the counter doesnt work niether does the red eye reduction - its just a flash that hardly ever fires at the right time!
have to say If lomography got hold of them they could sell for £40
easy!
Buy one!! I made a group for us :-)

My apologies to Dave. It didn't fully register that he would bid. Glad there's another up at the same price.

Sintex, you got to love 'em! You can even get a replacement tripod from Asda for 50p should the one you get with the camera malfunction! I wouldn't even risk putting the camera on the tripod as it is far too top heavy! My counter works fine though :)

I'm confused now - I bid last night and was immediately outbid. Just went to look to see who won it, and I did with the only bid at the original listed price!

Not important, but you probably got the one I bid on but asked the seller to delete my bid because US$25 shipping from the UK was a bit much. Enjoy.

Got mine today, it's bigger than I thought it would be!. The plastic fold out viewfinder looks pretty useless...
...so I'll be using that one :)

..and 5 weeks later, I've just got the first film dev+scanned.
The viewfinder is so bad I never even realised it was shooting in portrait format until I got the film back! (although the orientation of the film in the camera should have been a clue) The eyelevel viewfinder is more or less square and the foldout vf is definitely landscape!
Anyway - the photos have a nice surreal quality - I definitely like it!

...more to follow :)

AndyWilson: Wow! I love the soft edges. To bad the camera is so bulky. It's interesting that they made the default orientation portrait.

Just managed my second roll of film....

...but the real reason for posting is that I've just noticed there's another one on ebay and I'm fed up of being flickr's only active sintex snapper :)
