06 Sep 09 - Hi all, welcome to Townsville, North QLD where we enjoy over 300 days of sunshine each year. Townsville is located in the Dry tropics of Queensland and hosts many attractions for those that visit. We suggest a stroll along the Strand, a Hike up our Castle Hill at sunset and a swim at Nearby Crystal Creek. Stop by and view some of the beautiful images of our city and the surrounding region or join us and post some pics. Cheers.
