About Totally Fake
The pool for those who love to not trust their eyes.
Photos that belong in totally fake:
1. Subjects that are set up and/or shot in a way so as to appear in a different but convincing version of reality.
2. Subjects themselves that have been crafted or discovered to appear as something that they are not.
Photos that do NOT belong in totally fake:
1. Photoshopped or otherwise post production image manipulations
All manipulation and fakery must occur in front of the lens. Shots that rely on photoshop or darkroom fakery will be removed from the pool.
If I can't figure out why a picture belongs in the totally fake pool, I will post a comment asking for clarification. If a reply isn't submitted within a resonable period of time, the picture in question will be removed from the pool. Feel free to re-submit with some written justification.
To clarify: a wonder woman action figure alone would not be totally fake. A life-size sculpture of wonder woman would, HOWEVER a wonder woman action figure photographed next to a miniature table and chair WOULD!
Due to the subjective nature of reality and perception communication and discussion is highly encouraged. You should be honored if the authenticity of your totally fake submission is called into question, right?
