About Toronto Wildlife

Please add your photographs of non-domesticated wildlife seen in Toronto (loosely defined as Toronto, York, North York, East York, Etobicoke and Scarborough).

The Toronto Wildlife Group on Flickr is:
-an experiment in natural history observation;
-the monitoring of a local environment by locals interested in natural history;
-a database of wildlife observations that can be used for a number of purposes;
-something yet to be distinguished.

All too often, nature and the city are seen as mutually exclusive categories. This pool acts to collect observations of the variety of common and not-so-common wildlife to be found. Wildlife is writ large: from single-celled organisms to insects, mammals, herptiles & birds.

Please add identified and geotagged photographs to this stream.
