Second Harvest's Toronto Taste 2011 took place at the ROM on Sunday, June 12th.

Every day, secondharvest.ca picks up donated, high quality fresh food (which would otherwise go to waste) and delivers that food to approximately 250 social service programs in Toronto. secondharvest.cacurrently provides food for over 15,000 meals a day to children in breakfast programs, seniors on fixed incomes, women fleeing domestic abuse, people with mental illness, homeless people, and many others who have fallen on hard times.

secondharvest.ca does not receive on-going funding from the Government or United Way. We rely on private and corporate donations and the funds we receive from our summer fundraising event Toronto Taste.
