About Top 20 Texas

This group is part of the Flickr Top 20 System, for good quality photos taken in or about Texas. Photos that make it to the end of this pool get invited for permanent posting in our companion group Best of Texas.

If you've just joined and need promotion to Moderator, click here.

Please tag your photo with "top20texas" when you add it to this group. This tag will help you to keep track of which photos you have already sent to the group (you can only send a photo to the group one time).

If you are unfamiliar with the Top 20 System, the idea is quite simple. Everyone who joins this group will be a Moderator. The goal of the group is to have the best 20 photos in the pool at all times.

20 photos - no more, no less! Any member can post - but only one (1) photo per user in the pool at any time.

So when you add your photo (which would make the pool 21) you must delete one of the other photos by clicking in the little [X] under the photo you want to delete.

For the oldest photo only (at the bottom end of our pool), copy and paste the following notification in the photo's comment section before deleting it from the pool:

CONGRATULATIONS CODE: Only for photos that make it all the way to the end!
