The NEW Top20 groups are administered by a limited membership in order to keep total control over the group. The rules are much the same, but members will add their photo to the pool and post a “request to delete” to the discussion board. An administrator will then make the deletion.
Please review the guidelines carefully & for best experience, you should follow these steps IN ORDER
A. VIEW each photo in the pool to decide which one you are choosing to delete. Obviously, should believe that your photo is BETTER than the one you are choosing to delete!
B. POST your better top 20 tilt shift photo to the group
C. REQUEST a deletion of one of the current photos by COMMENTING on the “Please Remove Photo Thread” Use the format below:
If you add a photo to the pool, you MUST request that another photo be removed. If your photo is posted and the administrator does not see a request to remove, your photo will be deleted instead to keep the group at a max of 20.
More details. ONLY 1 PHOTO PER USER in the pool at any time. This is automatically enforced by the group posting limit setting. Only add a photo to the pool once
The administrator will constantly pare the photo pool to exactly 20 photos in accordance with the group theme. For short periods, you might see a few more than 20 photos during the interval between a member posting his/her photo and the time the administrator can make the indicated deletions.
The administrator will not make a judgment as to whether the photo going into the pool is "better" in any way to the one being removed. That way, the choices are still completely up to the membership. Photos not meeting the intent of the group will be removed without notice. Please keep it clean & fun.
