About Top 20 San Antonio

Welcome to Top 20 San Antonio! This group is designed using the Top 20 System and seeks to discover the best pictures of San Antonio on Flickr!

As far as subject matter goes, the picture needs to have been taken in San Antonio and/or Bexar County (or South Texas for South Texas Fridays) and consist of either architecture, infrastructure, nature, or public/sporting events.

Please DO NOT post pictures of individual people or anything that does not represent San Antonio in the above four categories. If you do, the picture will be deleted from the group regardless of its place in the pool. If you are a moderator and see a picture in the pool that does not relate to the above four categories, then you may delete it.

BEFORE posting to the pool, you must first request to become a moderator. To do so, post a link to any of your San Antonio pictures (or South Texas pictures for STXF) in the thread entitled “Moderator Requests.” Posting a link to one of your San Antonio or South Texas pictures will prove that you indeed have San Antonio or South Texas pictures to contribute, and you are not a troll seeking to undermine this group by deleting all the pictures in the pool, etc. Thanks!

Here's a quick rundown on how submitting pictures to the group works:

1. Request to become a moderator. Once granted, you will be able to add ONE picture to the pool at a time.

2. Add your San Antonio picture (or South Texas picture for STXF) to the pool and tag it with "top20sanantonio."

3. Delete a picture(s) in the pool that LEAST appeals to you so that the number of pictures in the pool will remain at the maximum of 20. If all pictures in the pool at that time appeal to you, then you must post the CONGRATULATIONS CODE as a comment on the 20th picture in the pool. After you have done so, you may delete the 20th picture.

4. Hit refresh as many times as you want to see how far your picture's made it!
