Welcome to the FLICKR Top20 system! The Top 20 groups are self-moderated. Please read the guidelines:

1. In the spirit of sharing and cooperation, everyone here will receive a moderator or admin status. Once promoted to admin, you must also promote new members. Try to search their stream for pictures on topic (Los Angeles, California, including Los Angeles County) to avoid promoting a troll.

2. This group is limited to photos taken in the Greater Los Angeles Area, which includes the city of Los Angeles and cities in Los Angeles County. Any photos taken outside of Los Angeles will be removed.

3. Keep the pool at 20 PHOTOS at any given time. When you post a photo (which would make the pool 21), you must then delete one photo. If there are less than 20 photos, do not delete any, but if there are more than 20 photos, delete as many as necessary to keep the pool at the 20 best Los Angeles shots. To remove a picture from the pool, just click on the little [x] under the thumbnail - make sure you've seen the picture enlarged before you decide. If you remove the oldest one, you must notify it first (see below).

4. You can post only one (1) picture at a time and it should be better than what you remove from the pool. Preferably send it after you are promoted, because you will not be able to delete until then. After your photo gets removed, please do not post the same picture again. Add this tag to all posted pictures: "top20LA"

5. If you comment a photo from the pool, please mention the group's name or copy and paste our link/code:

For the oldest photo only, use the following comment as a notification:

Photos with at least one comment from a Top 20 group - may it be the invitation, notification or just the link - can be posted in Top 20 Everlasting.

6. Admins can also use a link under the comment box to make invitations to the group [Invite this photo to...]. If you are a Moderator, just copy and paste this code:

7. Make use of the group pool discussion board before mailing any Admin. We should all help each other and there are many Admins and Moderators who can answer to your questions in the right topic.
