This thread is being started to help promote those shining pillars of work that make it to the top spot. As always there are rules but I'll keep them simple:

1. If you are deleting the photo that made it to the end of the pool, copy/paste the CONGRATULATIONS code into the comment area of the photo BEFORE you delete it.

That's it, that's all the rules. It'll only work on the honour system so If the admins catch you posting your own photo here while your at spot 3 (or 2, or 14 for that matter) then you get, and I hesitate to even use the word, BANNED.

So I guess I'll leave it up to Arcady to post the first pic.

Top spot is actually the bottom spot !

New additions come in at the top left spot in the pool.

To make it too the Top (bottom right) spot your image needs to survive at least 19 additions to the pool without being deletted. Might even average about 60 additions.

So the bottom is TOPS !

If you happen to see a new image in top spot then leave a comment on that image congratuating them and invite them to post it in this discussion.

That way hopefully images don't actually make it to the top and the photographer never finds out about it.

I see tanguero has kindly posted one above for someone else which is really nice and great if the admins could do this whenever they see new Top spot holder. But they won't always see before it get deleted.

Actually it might be better for admins to leave a comment like I did on the image above and then the photographer posts here himself because it's a bit missleading seeing tanguero's icon and name against olikristinns's image above.
