About Top 12 images that define YOU!
Welcome
Weather you're taking photos to please your clients, your family or your friends it's easy to loose perspective of why it is that we've all started doing what we do.
Thus I thought it would be fun to see everyone's favourite 12 images from their folio, or as I called it "the top 12 images that define you".
It's important to be disciplined with this exercise and not post images that you have been told by others are great, but only the ones that you feel personally passionate about.
In addition post a little note next to each image of what it means to you in personal terms and why you believe it helps to define you as a photographer.
I've have seen some amazing diversity and unbelievable talent on Flickr, more so then anywhere else, traditional galleries included, so hopefully we can all learn something useful from one another, while sharing a bit of ourselves.
NEW
Once you've added a few images to this group, start a new thread in here with either some, (ie. work in progress) or all of your Top 12 Defining images. Use size medium and include the description and title of each photo. Also because nothing in life is static, even our top 12 defining images can change from time to time, so feel free to update your collection in here and post an update in your thread.
Finally I would recommend that everyone that joins this group creates a new set in their own profile, titled Top 12 Define, and also keeps their own respective images in there as a reminder of why it is we all joined Flickr in the first place and why we all love expressing ourselves through photography.
Group TAG
Also please add a "top12_define" tag to all of your images which go into this group.
Final Note
Just to clarify, this group isn't about praise, ego boosting, adulation, or about playing the Flickr explore game. It's intent is to create a place where photographers from all walks can share their intimate moments...
