Hello everyone,

I thought I would try something new with Admin Admired this week - a short explanation of why I tagged these photos as top-v-aa.

Each week, the administrators of Top V look at dozens of photos submitted to the pool by you, our members.

This is a wonderful photo of a handsome animal. The soft light and colors make a nice contrast with the crisp feeling of the wind in the goat's hair. View Large

The title on this one is just great. Why is this bike outside, in the snow? it asks for a closer look and a little contemplation.

Delicate flowers, perfectly executed. I spent quite a while staring at the centers.

In this portrait, I was intrigued by her eyes and the way her forehead wrinkles with skepticism. It looks like the photographer surprised her with a question.

Perfect example of the rule of thirds, with a subject you could just get lost in.

In this image, a texture is used to add mood to a foggy shot.

Separately, these would have been just ok. Together, as a mosaic, they feel fun and exciting. I couldn't wait to click on this.

This is a unique perspective on an unusual art installation, Cadillac Ranch in Texas, USA.

Very different sort of self-portrait. Take a look at some of Dappers' other photos in this pool and be prepared to look at the world from some different angles.

This is a photo of a giant moth, and some amazing colors.

I liked the minal aspects of this photo.

This is not only a colorful, fun shot, but it's a dramatic scientific experiement about microwaving gummy bears. Yikes!

cheers :) thanks for adding my snowy bike pix on ur thread :) awesome :) why is the bike outside in the snow?? well, i took this at the central train station in copenhagen - it wasnt supposed to be snowing that night, so, i suppose, it caught both the bike and the owner by surprise :)

once again :) cheers....

Thank you so much. That goat was in Glacier National Park. It was just the perfect day. We did some hiking and came around the corner of a trail along the cliff and there was a whole family of mountain goats. We spent a good long time watching them. This guy just seemed to stand out above everyone else watching to make sure no harm came to the rest of them. This is the little guy he was watching over:
