About Timeline SL

"Timeline" is a collaboration between GM Nikolaidis and Raven Haalan. The centerpiece of Timeline is an equatorial sundial resting on a platform, which is also a traditional 12 hour clock. The numbers on each hour of the clock-face are embedded in sand within a wooden framework. Each number corresponds to someone's life event which is displayed in text on the sign, and played out on the platform when the sign is touched. Although these are personal stories told by other Second Life residents, you will probably find something that you have in common with the storyteller. It is these common experiences that link us together and make us all collaborators in this thing we call First Life.

We invite you to be a collaborator with us by sharing your own story, and your Timeline artwork in this group.

Timeline is best experienced with environment set to midnight, and plenty of time on your hands.
