CowParade La Jolla will begin March 15, 2009 and conclude its public exhibition June 15, 2009. The exhibition will celebrate La Jolla’s artistic talent with contributions from all segments of the arts community – painters, sculptors, craftsmen, multi-media artists and other creative individuals who are urged to apply.
It is anticipated that 50 cow sculptures will be displayed in La Jolla, making it an important tourism attraction and weekend outing for local families. It is estimated that the post-exhibition auctions will generate hundreds of thousands of dollars for La Jolla charities Rady Children’s Hospital and the Zoological Society of San Diego.
