08 Sep 09 - Please check out the Group Rules for tips on properly formatting your submissions so that we can get them into the rotation as quickly as possible. It boils down to adding a title, description and optionally a link for each image submitted, and also to ensuring that the original image has a long side around 1280px or larger. If in doubt, check out some of the images already in the group to see how to format your submission.

Thanks!

About tiffr

These are photos that will be featured on the homepage of tiffr.com, the simple way to schedule your festival.

We want to showcase stills from films in the Toronto International Film Festival, past and present, as well as photos taken at the festival by fellow film lovers.

When posting images to this group to be featured on the tiffr.com homepage, please follow the following simple guidelines:

1. Make sure it's the right size
We use the original file size uploaded, and we're looking for photos with a long edge of 1280px or larger, so try to give us a nice big image so it'll look amazing on the homepage.

2. Give your image a descriptive title
The title is displayed with every image so if you leave it as IMG0023.jpg, we won't approve it until you update it to something more suitable.

3. Provide a short description of the film.
The description will also show on the homepage with the image, so a short description of the film, the still, the director, the production, etc. should be added to each submitted film.

e.g.: After suffering an emotional breakdown in a public place, a young man vows to quit the chaotic city life and never leave his apartment

4. Provide a link at the bottom of the description (optional).
We usually link to the film page at The Auteurs, tiff.net or tiffr.com, but you can link to your own site if you'd like. Just copy and paste the code below into your description, replace all the dummy values with good ones, and everything will look awesome.

When in doubt, check out some of the pictures already approved in the pool to see how to properly format your submission.

Thanks for giving us your images!
